What do we have to offer:
Football is the most famous team sport in which we, even though we are a small country, are known worldwide. Many children dream about playing for a top club. Our football club Dio’30 is the largest club in Maas & Waal and the high-performance teams play at a high level.
Dio’30 is an association with a positive image and many enthusiastic volunteers. An association that attaches great importance to youth training and also strives for good social standards. We strive for fun in the game and learning to play together in a team.
We also have a beautiful sports field with 3 artificial grass fields and lighting on 3 fields. This means that training and football can still take place in many circumstances.
Children can start at Ukken from the age of 4. The UK train once a week on Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Participation is freely accessible, but please register in advance via [email protected]. At the age of 6, the children join the competition teams where they train twice during the week and also play football matches on Saturdays.
Our girls’ teams hold a special place. With 4 youth girls’ teams and almost 80 players, we can speak of an extremely positive development. The number of girls is almost 20% within the youth. It’s not only good that they exercise, but it’s also great fun!
Supplies:
Football boots, shin guards, football socks, sportswear, tracksuit. The players will receive a match outfit from DIO’30.
The higher teams also receive a hoodie and football bag through the clothing fund.

Competition:
The competition is organized through the KNVB and starts after the summer in September and runs until June in the spring. In winter there is a winter break depending on the weather conditions.
Training:
Training times vary per age group and team. The youngest players (up to 11 years old) train on Wednesday evenings and at the beginning of Friday evenings. The older youth train two evenings a week.
Annual activities:
At DIO’30 we are active with youth. For example, football camps, technology clinics, Sinterklaas and party evenings are organised. Youth represents the largest number of members within the association.
