The Los Angeles Galaxy and Orlando qualified for the conference finals, West and East respectively, of the North American Football Championship (MLS) on Sunday. The Galaxy crushed Minnesota United at home in a dry match (6-2) and will face the Seattle Sounders in the final in the West.
The Sounders eliminated the Los Angeles FC of French world champions Hugo Lloris and Olivier Giroud on Saturday, depriving the West of a Los Angeles derby in the final. In an Eastern conference deprived of the favorites, Messi’s Inter Miami and the Columbus Crew are already eliminated, Orlando defeated Atlanta (1-0) and will meet the New York Red Bulls to try to qualify for the grand final.
