Concerned by these cuts, a couple in their seventies living in Turnerdelegated commune of Souleuvre en Bocage, used a generator at his home to try to resolve the problem.
It would be this generator which would be at the origin of a carbon monoxide poisoning of the couple, found inanimate in the house, Friday November 22.
Saved by their neighbors
These are the neighborsworried, who inquired about the situation, before warn urgently emergency services. A reaction which allowed emergency services to intervene quickly on site, accompanied by the gendarmerie.
The couple was thus able to be taken care of and transferred to Caen University Hospital.
