The final round of the autumn part of the Third Istrian ŽNL North brought tense matches, goliaths and confirmation of the quality of the leading teams. Autumn champion Vižinada suffered a defeat in the round derby, while Puris and Kaštelir-Labinci took advantage of the opportunity to get closer to the top. Moela convincing against Grožnjan-Oprtlje
On the home field in Umag, NK Moela secured a convincing 4:1 victory against Grožnjan-Oprtlje. Martin Marković excelled by scoring the first goal in the 21st minute, while Nikica Primorac with two goals and Martin Anchov concluded the dominance of the hosts. Grožnjan-Oprtalj managed to alleviate the defeat with a goal by Frank Makovac in the 70th minute.
Puris overcame Vižinada in drama
The derby of the round was played in Poreč, where NK Puris beat the leading NK Vižinada by a minimum of 2:3. Ritoša and Flank brought Vižinada back into the game after an early own goal by Vitez and a goal by Lazarić, but Puris secured the victory in stoppage time in the first half with a second goal by Lazarić. Despite the defeat, Vižinada remains at the top of the table, but with a minimal advantage.
Kaštelir-Labinci was demolished by Galeb
NK Kaštelir-Labinci beat NK Galeb from Jurićan 3:1 at home. Benčić, Zović and Valentić were accurate for the hosts, while Trbović eased the defeat of Galeb from a penalty kick. This was a great end to the half-season for Kaštelir-Labince, who are now in the race for the top of the table, three points behind the leaders.
Midwives outclassed Livade
NK Babići 1947 achieved a convincing victory 0:5 on the road in Livade. Radin with two goals was the most outstanding individual of the match, while Šorgo, Samardžić and Čadraki confirmed Babić’s dominance. The meadows were unable to stop the attacking wave of the guests, who with this victory consolidated their place in the middle of the table.
