Mazy-Spy continues its invincibility streak

And six for Mazy-Spy! Facing Éghezée, a direct competitor, Quentin de Leeuw and his team did not tremble to achieve a sixth success in a row (64-40). “We weren’t in it for the first ten minutes, explains the coach. But what’s interesting about my group is that it’s homogeneous. When I make a change, there is no difference in level. Plus, every guy is capable of scoring. Danger can therefore come from anywhere, it’s really positive for us and difficult for the opponent. It must also be said that we have a rather young team, unlike Éghezée. So I think it was the pace that made the difference.”

If quality is present on the field, we cannot neglect the importance of team cohesion either. “It’s a group of friends and they laugh a lot together. The positive results further accentuate this good state of mind. We are ready to face a month of December which will be a good test, given that we will face big calibers of the series, concludes Quentin De Leeuw who will also help La Villersoise (P2), in the province of Liège. This doesn’t mean that I’m leaving Mazy. I manage both clubs at the same time. But I found it was a great experience to coach in another province. The style of play is different.”

In Marche, “the results are very positive”

Saturday evening, Marche left Erpent with no chance (88-35). This great success notably allowed Morgan Reminster to rotate his workforce.

“It must be said that Erpent had a few absentees and that it was therefore young players who replaced them, says T1 Marchois. But there are a lot of positive things to take away from our performance. I had the opportunity to make everyone play so that we regained some confidence.”. And this confidence is there. After three victories in a row, Marche is now in 5th place, with one match less. “If we look at the number of defeats of the top 5 teams, we can even say that we are second. The group is therefore confident and is very serious against opponents who seem more affordable on paper. Am I satisfied with our current results? Of course, it is very positive. Nobody expected us in this position since we have just moved up. But, beyond having great team cohesion off the field. ‘improves from week to week on the pitch. “We must continue to progress together and challenge ourselves every week, without paying attention to the other results of the series.”
