The Atlanta Hawks were fined $100,000 by the NBA on Tuesday for not playing Trae Young on November 12.
The NBA fined the Atlanta Hawks $100,000 on Tuesday. An investigation has in fact proven that Trae Young, leader of the Hawks, could have participated in the match against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday, November 12 when his franchise had placed the player on the list of injured players, officially because he was suffering from ‘tendinitis that evening. According to the NBA, Atlanta did not comply with their team’s player participation policy. And according to the regulations, each franchise must field players when matches are broadcast or are part of a tournament taking place during the season unless the team justifies the absence of its player.
