Nearly three hundred visitors discovered, in a single place, the numerous sporting, educational, social, cultural and professional activities offered by local associations and structures.
Organized on Saturday at the reception and entertainment area of the Sainte-Geneviève district, the 3 e edition of the Ruche Bourne made it possible to promote the various initiatives proposed by the Maison de l’emploi. “This event is a great showcase,” said Adeline Bachellerie, the director. It allows us to inform and help the public in our role of supporting employment and training. »
“Strengthening social ties in neighborhoods”
Throughout the day, actors such as the Education League, the departmental council, the Olivier, the Plie (Local Plan for Integration and Employment), the CCAS (Communal Social Action Center) , the schools and leisure centers of Hauts d’Auxerre, Auxer’judo competed in ingenuity. Videos, readings, interviews, quizzes, everyone took their initiative to highlight their actions and services and make this event a success.
Certain associations particularly stood out in the audience, such as Auxerrevice for the destitute, represented by Abdelaziz Hajji, who recalled that before winter, thirty-seven people were currently living on the streets in Auxerre and one hundred and fifty were in very serious difficulty.
With this 2024 edition, the event has once again demonstrated its central role. The elected officials present welcomed the involvement of the associations. “This event actively participates in strengthening social ties in the neighborhoods,” they unanimously underlined.
La Ruche buzze should return in 2025, possibly in a new format, to continue to energize the Sainte-Geneviève district and beyond.
