During this time, the team recovered a huge quantity of bedsheets of D-Cor company from many places. Also the police detained many people. At the same time, the team’s raid created panic among those doing bedsheet work. Most of the businessmen locked their warehouses and fled. A complaint has been lodged in the police station on behalf of the company.
In Sardhana, work of making fake bedsheets of various famous brands like Bombay Dyeing and D-Cor is being done on a large scale. There are warehouses for bedsheets at dozens of places in the city. On Wednesday, the team of D-Core Company reached the city to raid. The team along with the police set out to raid the city. During this, the team raided Aaqib’s Asif Textile in Dharmpura locality. Where the team recovered a huge quantity of made and half-made bedsheets in the name of D-Cor. Apart from this, stickers and wrappers of the company were recovered. Police detained many people from here.
Apart from this, the team raided two places on Tehsil Road. Here also the team recovered a huge quantity of bedsheet named D-Cor. The team caught many from here also. The team took possession of all the goods. At the same time, the raid created panic among the bedsheet traders. Most of the businessmen locked their warehouses and fled. The company’s team included Ajay Kumar, Deep Singh, Devendra Pratap, Piyush Srivastava. A complaint has been lodged in the police station by the company representative. Inspector Pratap Singh says that further action will be taken after registering a report on the basis of the complaint.
Bombay dyeing goods also found
During the raid, the team also found a stock of fake bedsheets in the name of Bombay Dyeing Company at all the places. Here also a large quantity of wrappers and stickers in the name of the company were found. However the team did not seize this goods. Because there was no one from Bombay Dyeing side.
Supply is being done across the country
Fake bedsheets are being prepared on a large scale in the city. From here, bedsheets are being supplied to all the states including Subhashnagar in Meerut, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Sikkim, Manipur. This was revealed from the bill book found by the team during the raid.
Theft incident in the factory revealed
Meerut: On Wednesday night, the police revealed the theft that took place on Monday night in the tennis ball factory located on TP Nagar Bhola Road. The police arrested four people and also recovered the stolen goods. Today all the accused will be presented before the court. Lakhpat Sharma, retired from UP Police, has set up a tennis ball factory on Bhola Road. Thieves ransacked the closed factory on Monday night.
The thieves took away five ball making dies, two sacks filled with prepared balls, a gas cylinder and many other items. When the incident came to light the next morning, the retired sub-inspector lodged a report and the police started investigating. It is said that the retired sub-inspector was suspicious of a person living nearby. He informed the police about him, after which the police started surveillance. After Bhumika came to light, the police caught him. During strict interrogation, the truth of the theft was revealed.
The accused told that he took two youths named Manish and Gaurav with him for the theft and committed the theft at night. He went to Madhavapuram to sell the finished ball, but the deal did not materialize. After this, he sold this tennis ball to a person named Vikas, a resident of Pallavapuram. The police raided the two youths and recovered five dies for making balls from them and two bags of ready-made tennis balls from Vikas. Inspector Subodh Saxena says that the police is busy in recovery. The entire matter will be revealed on Thursday.
