Lokomotive juniors celebrated on the road at Farul – Sportalo

The Lokomotive juniors did a great job in the Junior Champions League, they recorded a 2:0 victory away from home in Romania’s Constanta, so in return in Zagreb on December 11, they will seek passage to the third round, where the winner of the Olympiacos-Trenčin duel would await them.

After being better than the Belarusian champion Dinamo Minsk in two games in the last round, Lokos took a big step towards the third round of the Champions League by winning away from home in the first game. Things didn’t go well for Lokos, in the 18th minute the home team had a chance to take the lead from the penalty spot, but Stoian didn’t use the best possible opportunity in the match, his shot went high over the crossbar of Kostopec’s goal. The penalty arrived quickly, Lovro Kristo was the assistant, and Leonardo Perković was the scorer for Lokomotiva’s lead in the 25th minute. The Lokomotiv striker beautifully turned around his keeper and scored for the lead from 5 meters. Right before the break, the advantage was doubled, in the 44th minute Anes Huskić assisted, and Antonio Baždarić scored the goal, who at the beginning of the action took the ball away from the home team, and then calmly scored from ten meters. In the sequel, Lokomotiva was the better team, the difference in class is evident and these two goal advantages should be the guarantor of passing another European obstacle for Nikica Jelavić’s team.

Lokomotiva played with Kostopec – Markanović, Utrobčić, Kristo, Katic – Reić, Subotić, Baždarić – Huskić, Perković, Đurković
