Tomorrow, Thursday 28 November, at the “Sempre united” club, the Asti section of the Sports Veterans is organizing the awards ceremony for “Torch 2024”. The appointment is set for 6pm and this year will see the collaboration of the Association of Stars of Sports Merit and the Italian Athletes.
A moment that celebrates sport in all its forms, from journalism to promising young people, up to those who have dedicated their lives to sport.
The winners
– Journalism and sport: Enzo Armando, journalist of La Stampa
– Promising young woman: Roberto Capello, cycling
– Promising young woman: Alessandro Boero, modern pentathlon
– A life for sport: Giuseppe Ponzone, tennis, Mauro Gerbi, tennis, Silvano Sacchetto, sports for the disabled, Paolo Voglino, fist ball
– Technician of the year: Alessandra De Vincenzi, tambourine
