Castilla y León basketball mourns the loss of the last great defender of referees

At 82 years of age, another of the romantics of Valladolid basketball leaves us on tiptoe and without making a sound. Jesús Cossío was one of the great promoters and at the same time defenders of arbitration in Castilla y León.

Another of the tireless riders of black and white basketball who helped in the transition to color basketball and who says goodbye to join the friends who have already disappeared Pepe Moratinos, Román Requejo, Carlos Sainz, Rafa Izquierdo, Alfosno Matía, Chufi, Mariano López Ortega, Enrique Ugidos… with whom he shared experiences and work in favor of basketball in Castilla y León, either in the Territorial as president of the CTA for 20 years or in the Vallisoletana Basketball Delegation as head of the College of Referees.

The basketball of Castilla y León mourns and feels the loss of one of the promoters of basketball, when he started at the Club Gimnasio in the 50s.
