For a long time now, it is when the autumn leaves begin to invade the outdoor courts that the elders begin their regional championship… If, in the past, several teams had fun throughout the Occitanie region, this year only one team has could have been made up of players who were sometimes… much older than 65! But no matter, with a leader like JM Costes, who has just entered the category, the TCV team, supplemented by a few “slightly” older players (but very experienced!), has had a string of successes and is on the verge of becoming qualify for the final stages!
After having “defeated” their counterparts from Cahors, Carmaux and St-Céré our elders are at the head of the group before receiving, for their last meeting, other Lotois, those from Gourdon.
Result : TCV (JM Costes, J. Couffignal, D. Lacam, A. Calmettes, J. Savignac) beat TC St Céré 4/1.
