Tomorrow at 6pm the council hall of the Municipality will host the Festival of Sports Merit, during which CONI will, as usual, award honors to athletes and managers of sports clubs based on the results achieved. Rewarding the various sportsmen and clubs in the area will be, among others, the Coni delegate Massimo Taiti, the regional president of Coni Simone Cardullo, the mayor Ilaria Bugetti and the president of the Tuscan FIGC Lnd committee Paolo Mangini. The list of winners is long, starting with the “Coni Awards” which will also be awarded among others to the Poggio swimmer Gianmarco Sansone (Fiamme Oro, bronze in the 4×100 medley relay at the Doha World Championships) and to the Prato-based Giulia Mencarelli of Notapinna Prato (who won won two bronzes at the “junior” World Championships). Prize also goes to the judoka and judo referee Roberto Macrì and the coach Cristiano Ferri for football, for the clubs Tennis Club Bisenzio and Ambra Pugilato Boxe will be awarded. “Bronze star”: Prato C5 will receive the award and for the managers the recognition will go to the Fitp provincial delegate Antonio Bambagioni. Two CONI bronze medals to boxer Leonardo Esposito and Francesco Visintin. Recognition also goes to Massimiliano Masi.
