In a week, from December 6th to 8th, the Ultimate Tennis Showdown Finals, one of the most important exhibition tournaments in recent years, will begin. Created by Patrick Mouratoglou, the event will feature players such as Denis Shapovalov, Holger Rune and Andrey Rublev as key players.
The UTS takes place at several events throughout the year in major cities, with some of the best ATP players taking part. The season’s results were used to determine the eight players who qualified for the final event of the year, with participants divided into two groups.
The first edition of the year took place in Oslo in early February, where Rublev emerged victorious after defeating Alex de Minaur in the final. This time both players are the top ranked participants and will lead their respective groups. In August, just before the US Open, Gael Monfils won the title by defeating Alexander Bublik in the final, and both qualified for the year-end tournament. Finally, in October, Ugo Humbert became the last player to win a championship, defeating Dominic Thiem in the final.
Andrey Rublev leads Group A, followed by Ugo Humbert, Gael Monfils and Thanasi Kokkinakis. Group B is led by Alex de Minaur, accompanied by Alexander Bublik, Holger Rune and Denis Shapovalov.
