Former NFL star Kroy Biermann has embarked on a new path following his football career, taking a role at an assembly and equipment company. This transition comes as she is supposedly facing financial difficulties and navigating through a turbulent divorce.
Biermann, who spent nearly a decade in the NFL playing for the Atlanta Falcons and Buffalo Bills from 2008 to 2016, joined Superior Rigging & Erecting Co, a company known for its involvement in the construction of sports stadiums. Some of the company’s notable projects include the renovation of State Farm Arena, home of the Atlanta Hawks, and the construction of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the state-of-the-art arena shared by the Falcons and Atlanta United.
According to Biermann’s LinkedIn profile, his role as ‘crane and erection coordinator’ is crucial to ensuring smooth operations from the initial interaction with the customer through the completion of each job. This career change demonstrates Biermann’s ability to adapt and thrive in new environments beyond professional football.
However, this change comes amid reports of serious financial problems for Biermann and his wife Kim Zolciak-Biermann. Allegedly in debt, their Georgia mansion is reported to be in foreclosure and remains unsold despite significant price reductions. The property is scheduled to go to auction shortly. As they face these challenges, Zolciak-Biermann has had to resort to selling fake Christmas trees on Instagram in an attempt to raise money.
The couple’s divorce proceedings have also added to their problems. Since May 2023, several police interventions have been reported at their residence due to disputes between them. Earlier this month, Biermann and Zolciak-Biermann were even instructed to stay away from each other after an altercation in which both parties accused each other of theft.
Biermann’s decision to pursue a career in the mounting and erection industry demonstrates his determination to overcome adversity and establish a stable future. It emphasizes the resilience and versatility often required for success, even after leaving the world of professional sports.
As Biermann begins this new chapter, only time will tell how he will navigate his financial challenges and personal life. But one thing is certain: his commitment to overcoming obstacles both on and off the field is unwavering.
