Monaco midfielder Alexander Golovin joked during a live broadcast on the Twitch platform that he would not move to Zenit because of Alexander Sobolev.
“When will I move to Zenit? I don’t really want to play with Sobolev. I want to play Dota with him, but not so much football. “Dota” for joy, but football with Sasha Sobolev…” Golovin joked on a Twitch broadcast.
27-year-old Sobolev moved to Zenit from Spartak in August 2024. His transfer cost the team from St. Petersburg 10 million euros.
For Zenit, Sobolev played 15 matches in all tournaments, in which he scored two goals. It is worth saying that both goals came in the Russian Cup games.
