FIFA presents the nominations for The Best FIFA Football Awards™ 2024, honoring the best in men’s and women’s football after another stunning season.
On FIFA.com Fans can have a say in the winners in several categories. In the categories “The Best – FIFA World Player”, “The Best – FIFA World Player”, “The Best – FIFA World Coach – Men”, “The Best – FIFA World Coach – Women”, “The Best – FIFA World Goalkeeper “ and “The Best – FIFA World Goalkeeper” count the votes of fans, team captains, coaches and media equally.
While the fans choose the winner of the FIFA Fan Award alone, a group of FIFA football experts selects the winner of the FIFA Fair Play Award. The winners of the inaugural FIFA Marta Prize and the FIFA Puskás Prize are chosen equally by the fans and the FIFA expert panel.
For the first time, fans can also take part in voting for The Best FIFA Men’s 11 and The Best FIFA Women’s 11. From a list of 77 players (22 each in defense, in midfield and in attack and eleven in goal) you can put together your dream team for one of the tactical concepts available. The votes of the fans and the FIFA expert group each count 50%.
The FIFA Puskás Prize now goes to the scorer of the most beautiful goal in men’s football, regardless of competition and nationality. The scorer of the world’s most beautiful goal in women’s football will be awarded the FIFA Marta Prize, named after the Brazilian football legend, for the first time.
