The BWF announces on its official website that the Spanish Badminton Federation has released the rights to the Spanish Masters for the 2025 season of the BWF World Tour.

“Following discussions with the Badminton World Federation (BWF), it was agreed that the tournament should be canceled for next year,” read a statement.

The Spain Masters is a BWF Super 300 level event. The tournament is scheduled to take place from March 20 to 25, 2025.

The event only started in 2018. A total of three venues were used as match arenas during this period.

“The national management body has concluded that it no longer deserves to host the tournament,” read a BWF statement.

At this year’s event, two Indonesian representatives emerged champions. They are Sabar Karyaman Gutama / Mohammad Reza P tadvi Isfahani and Rinov Rivaldy / Path Haningtyas Mentari.
