“Report from TGS Vorwärts Frankfurt on the 2nd E-ranking tournament U13-15-17-19 on November 16th-17th, 2024 in Frankfurt
On November 16-17, 2024, the TGS Vorwärts Frankfurt welcomed the youth of the Frankfurt district for the first time to an E-ranking tournament in the sports hall of the Riedberg high school. A total of 134 young people competed for placement in the age groups U13 and U15 (singles, doubles and mixed) as well as U17 and U19 (doubles and mixed). After the premiere of the E-ranking list in June in Goldbach had already been very well received, the high number of registrations this time again demonstrated great interest among the Frankfurt district’s young badminton players.
For TGS Vorwärts Frankfurt, which has a team in the U15 Mini-District League B for the first time this season, hosting a youth ranking tournament was the second premiere in the youth sector. Thanks to the commitment of players from the adult area as well as parents of the participating young people and the active support of district youth officer Alexander in the tournament management, the tournament ran smoothly and was a great success for everyone. A big thank you to all the helpers for their efforts!
