This weekend it has it for Germans NBA-Fans twice as much! Dennis Schröder and his Brooklyn Nets face the German NBA trio at the Orlando Magic more than once.
After the first duel against the Wagner brothers and rookie Tristan da Silva on Saturday night (1:30 a.m. German time), the next meeting between the two teams from the Eastern Conference follows less than 48 hours later. On Sunday evening (9:30 p.m.) the German world champions will duel again in the Barclays Center, the Nets’ home venue in New York.
The game on Sunday, which will be the third meeting between the Nets and the Magic this season, will even be broadcast live from 9:10 p.m ProSieben MAXX on German free TV.
The Magic and Nets are in great shape
The Magic are currently one of the hottest teams in the league with 13 wins and seven losses. Led by an outstanding Franz Wagner has the franchise from Florida won ten of their last eleven games. Brother Moritz and rookie da Silva also made a significant contribution.
Schröder is in a slightly worse position with his Nets (9:10 record), but the expectations of his team were also significantly lower. With three wins in a row recently, including wins against the star-studded Warriors and Suns, the Nets also have a run that they want to extend against the Magic. So everything is set up for a German NBA festival this weekend!
