Al-Saadi revealed that “Iraq was close to hosting the World Tennis Championship in 2025, but the lack of support and the government’s rejection of requests to establish a sports hall led to the Iraqi Federation’s apology for hosting the event,” stressing that “the team will work to achieve distinguished results to highlight Iraq’s name in the tournament.” Global forums.
