On the morning of November 30, the 2024 Jiangsu United Vocational and Technical College Three-person Basketball League Finals was held in Nanjing. Liu Keyong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, attended and announced the opening. Guo Ruoling, Member of the Party Committee of the College and Vice President, delivered the opening speech. Responsible comrades from the Nanjing Municipal Education Bureau, Jiangning District Education Bureau, Jiangsu Sports Competition Co., Ltd., and more than 600 teachers and students from 59 teams from 45 school-running units in 8 areas of the hospital attended the opening ceremony. The competition is hosted by Nanjing Jiangning Branch.
At the opening ceremony, the lion dance team of Jiangning Branch and the cheerleading team of Xuanwu Technical Secondary School ignited the enthusiasm of the audience with their energetic performances. As the game whistle sounded, each team quickly jumped into the intense competition. The players moved quickly on the court, cooperated tacitly, sometimes broke through for layups, and sometimes made precise shots. Every action showed their superb basketball skills. The audience on the sidelines was also infected by this enthusiasm, cheering and cheering one after another, injecting endless motivation into the players.
After two days of fierce competition with a total of 162 games, the Kunshan No. 1 technical secondary school won the championship in the men’s and women’s groups, Wuxi Mechanical and Electrical Branch won the runner-up in the men’s group, Jiangyin technical secondary school ran in second place in the women’s group, Changzhou Liu Guojun Branch won the third place in the men’s group, and Kunshan No. The second team of No. 1 Secondary School won the third place in the women’s group. In addition, the competition also selects outstanding coaches, outstanding referees, outstanding organization awards, scoring champions, most valuable players and other honors in the men’s and women’s groups. Wang Wei, deputy secretary of the party committee and president of the college, attended the closing ceremony and presented awards to the winning schools and athletes.
