The team badminton season is in full swing for the Badminton club Kemperle (BCK), which concluded its first half of the season last weekend, with very good results.
Highly anticipated in Orvault, team 1 had a great day on Saturday November 30, obtaining a 5-3 victory which allows them to remain second in the National 3 championship. “And yet, the meeting did not look so easy to negotiate since we were deprived of Johanka Ivanovicová, who left for Ibiza to compete in the U19 European Championship with the Slovak team. To compensate for this absence, Mélanie Petiot and Mylène Suaudeau joined team 1. After a tough fight and close matches, we returned with a narrow 5-3 victory which allowed us to have a peaceful end to the year,” comments Jacky Hamoniaux , president of the BCK. This N3 team will begin the second part of its season on January 25 in Trégunc.
Good results in Maure-de-Bretagne
Team 2 had a great day in Maure-de-Bretagne where they obtained a 4-4 draw allowing them to consolidate their seventh place in their Prenational group. At the same place, team 3 of Regional 2 won 7-1 against Maure and found themselves third in their group. The five teams playing at the departmental level also achieved victories. Team 4 of D1 won 5-3 at Relecq-Kerhuon and moved back to 3rd place in the group. The two D2 teams experienced a derby, BCK 4 beating BCK 5 with a score of 7-1, they are now second and fifth in their group.
D3 teams in the lead
The D3 teams both returned with two victories from Trégunc and remain in the first two places in their championship. They will experience their second derby of the season on February 23.
