Sunday 8 December the city of Imperia is preparing to welcome Alice Bellandigold judoka at the last Olympics who will meet all the students of the OK Club sports association. The mayor presented the event today in the Municipality Claudio Scajolawho underlined how martial disciplines, such as judo and jujitsu, are a fundamental vehicle of education for children and young people, transmitting fundamental values such as correctness, discipline and the art of self-defense.
Franco Vianipresident of the sports association OK Club Imperia e Daniele BerghiFIJLKAM provincial delegate and judo master, warmly remember how they already hosted the athlete at the beginning of the year, when she was not yet champion. An opportunity for the kids to have a sporting example in front of them and to be able to learn from direct teaching, because champions should not be seen as distant beings, but as people with whom they can share important moments.
Alice Bellandi, we remember, is a gold medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics and a silver medalist at the 2024 Abu Dhabi World Championships.
