The juniors offered exciting and, above all, long tennis matches at their first day tournaments of this winter season.
Saturday in particular was tough, as the last matches for the U18s in the Balinger Hobbylandhalle only ended late at night.
U12 female
Julia Ebner from Freiburg was outstanding, losing only one game in her two wins. Linda Rendel from TC Ludwigsburg was also twice as successful. Despite defeats, Nele Halmen from Heching performed very well in this strong field.
U12 male
Noel Schahl from Urbach was decisive, who had to go to the match tie-break every time, but was still twice successful. Mio Mancarella (TC Herrenberg), Lennard Hann (TC WR Stuttgart) and his teammate Anton Denzel also achieved two victories. Luka Lingenberg from Burladingen also presented himself very well, serving for Markwasen Reutlingen and achieving two clear two-set victories.
U18 male
Among the oldest participants, David Gabriel from Ebingen prevailed surprisingly clearly with 6:0.6:2 against Melih Schmid (TC Ostdorf) in the top game. His second match went to him without a fight because his opponent could no longer compete. Luis Bajo from Überlingen also achieved two clear victories. The finale was Sita Jalloh (TC Ostdorf) and Joshua Kimpfler from Haigerloch. In an emotional match in front of a large crowd of fans, Jalloh prevailed 7:6, 6:4 after more than two and a half hours.
U14 female
Lea-Sophie Kodsi (TSG Backnang), Marie-Lou Roth (TA TB Beilstein) and Pauline Hamma (TC Weingarten) were twice as successful here. Lilly Brösamle (TC Bochingen) achieved a victory with 4:6, 7:6, 10:2 against Charlotta Kauls from Leonberg.
U18 female
Ellen Wacker (TC Herrenberg), Catharina Krastel (TSC Renningen) and Simhaja Kunukuntla (TC Schorndorf) dominated this age group. Mia Ivanic from Spaichingen and Livia Coopmans (TC Tübingen) were each successful once.
U14 male
Great tennis was offered by many players in this age group. Mika Schwager (TA SV Böblingen), Josef Lorenz (TV Biberach-Hünerfeld) and Tim Probst from TC Schörzingen were victorious in both matches. Jonn Hofmann from Tuttlingen, Luca Himmelsbach from TC Bochingen and the two Bildeching players Joris Ganswind and Noah Spengler achieved a victory.
