According to the information, the highway was going towards Kusmahi railway siding of Balumath after loading coal from Tubed Colliery of Latehar. Meanwhile, four criminals reached Kusmahi siding and set fire to two vehicles laden with coal. The criminals also beat up the drivers during this period. It is said that the criminals also opened fire on the spot. The criminals beat up the drivers and drove them away from the spot.
After the incident, the driver informed the owner of the car about the entire incident. After this the owner of Hiva informed the police about the incident. After getting information about the incident, the police team reached the spot on the instructions of police station in-charge Amarendra Kumar but by then the highway was burnt. The police team is investigating the incident.
The drivers said that they were going towards the siding carrying coal. Shortly before the siding, four criminals stopped him and beat him and snatched his mobile phone. During this time, the criminals set the vehicle on fire with the petrol they had brought with them.
