The Denver Broncos won an entertaining NFL game and increased their chances of making the playoffs. The Broncos won 41:32 against the Cleveland Browns and recorded their eighth win of the season. The hosts’ defense played a large part in the success: the Broncos intercepted three passes from Browns quarterback Jameis Winston, and twice this immediately resulted in their own touchdown.
“It was a difficult football game, they have a strong defense. But we forced three turnovers and that kept us in the game. That’s what it’s all about on Monday night: who wins,” said Broncos quarterback Bo Nix.
Strong performances from Browns professionals ultimately worthless
Winston, on the other hand, had a strong performance with four touchdown passes and gained 497 yards, but in the end he was forced to risk too much. Pass receiver Jerry Jeudy’s performance against his former team was also worthless; he gained 235 yards and a touchdown. According to ESPN, no player has ever been better against his former team.
