The German Tennis Federation has introduced Torben Beltz as the new women’s national coach.
The 48-year-old succeeds Barbara Rittner, whose contract was not extended in February after many successful years. The post has been vacant since then. Beltz trained, among others, Angelique Kerber and led her to her first of three Grand Slam titles at the Australian Open in Melbourne in 2016.
