THE NEW DIARY, CONSUELO. – Last Sunday, December 1, 2024, the ImpACTA Kids Foundation, in collaboration with the Major League Baseball Alumni Association (MLBPAA), carried out an inspiring activity at the facilities of the Manny Acta Sports Complex, located in the municipality of Comfort. More than 200 children from this community and surrounding areas had the opportunity to participate in baseball practices taught by prominent former professional players.
Emblematic figures such as Félix José, Juan Bernhardt, Rafelin Ramírez, José Mercedes, Jesús (Pepe) Frías, José Canó, Rodney Linares, Héctor Eduardo, Zoilo Perdomo, Guady Jabalera, Luis Natera and Junior Veloz, among others, shared their knowledge and experiences with the young people.
According to an information note, the day was led by Manny Acta, president of the ImpACTA Kids Foundation, who reaffirmed his commitment to the comprehensive development of Dominican children.
The event, which took place in the same complex where the ImpACTA Kids Foundation offices operate, not only provided participants with valuable tools for baseball, but also allowed them to interact with their idols, promoting values such as discipline, hard work, team and constant effort.
