Success of Navarrese judo at the National Gala

On the occasion of 75th Anniversary of the Royal Spanish Judo Federation and DA, several coaches and athletes from the Navarra Judo Federation and DA traveled to Las Palmas de Gran Canariaplace where the National Judo Gala, ceremony in which the rewards granted this year were presented. At the event that took place Saturday November 30 In the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, several diplomas and awards were presented to the Navarrese athletes.

The athletes were awarded Maika Burgalete Ucar (gold emblazoned black belt), Ariane Toro Soler (2nd judo DAN), Jesus Ederra Fernandez (6º DAN de jiu-jitsu), Andrés Moreno Hernandez (7º Judo DAN), Arantxa Mecca San Martin (7th DAN in judo), Eduardo Robles Oscoz (7th DAN of Judo), Fermín Espila Leoz (7º Judo DAN), Miguel A. Arcos Fernández (7th DAN of judo) y Roberto Martin Martinez (7th DAN of judo).

Coinciding with the 75th Anniversary of the Royal Spanish Federation of Judo and DA with the 50 years since the first Team Judo medal achieved at an international level, the Navarrese Patxi Chocarro San Martínone of the members of that National Team, and representing his teammates, collected the distinction granted by the Rewards Committee of the Spanish Federation. Finally, and taking advantage of the presence at said event of Mr. Alejandro Blanco Bravo, President of the Spanish Olympic Committee, Josetxo hall IrartePresident of the Navarra Federation of Judo and DA, was awarded the COE Olympic Badge.
