This weekend has been a true day of emotions, effort and improvement. Three of the young judokas from Judo CAMV debuted in the “I Judo Kius Trophy in Castellón”** on Saturday, November 30.
Aitor (-66kg) started with doubts in his first fight, but then he showed what he is made of. Facing and beating an orange belt with a spectacular **ippon** to take third place is a feat that leaves us speechless.
Iván (-90kg) not only debuted, he did it by dominating! He opened his way with a forceful **ippon** in front of a yellow belt. After 4 very tough fights, he got on the podium with another third place** that tastes like victory.
Gabriel (-81kg) had to fight in one of the most demanding categories of the day. Regardless of the experience of his rivals, he showed courage and technique to take a well-deserved third place.
And if this wasn’t enough… our coach also left his mark on the tatami!
Javier Muñoz, our teacher and example, traveled to Gran Canaria to participate in the “Spanish Veterans Championship” on Sunday, December 1. Competing in the M6 -90kg category, he returned with the Spanish runner-up medal.
**CONGRATULATIONS!** Aitor, Iván, Gabriel, and Javier, you have shown that effort and bravery always pay off. This is just the beginning.
