The Fundación Prode Baloncesto Pozoblanco still cannot find its game, which led it to add another defeat, this time against SM-CB Come Pizza Montilla. The team is second to last in the qualifying table although it has games left to catch up in terms of the competition. Nacho García’s team has six defeats compared to a single victory.

This time the script changed because it was the Pozo Albenses who started in command in a first quarter of continuous alternatives on the scoreboard. After the initial 3-0, the visitors tied the contest and took the lead with two consecutive triples. The give and take continued during the first ten minutes although the partial fell on the Pozo Albense side (11-15).

The same did not happen in a second quarter where Fundación Prode accumulated those minutes with difficulties in scoring that they carry in almost every game. This time it remained at 10 points so the Montilla team turned the score around to go into halftime leading (32-25).

A more than bridgeable distance that left the game completely open and both teams were aware of that circumstance in an exciting third quarter that maintained the balance between both squads (19-16). With ten points in favor for the locals (51-41), they entered the final quarter where Fundación Prode tried to close the gap, but could not overcome that difference and will have in the next round, in which they will face DS Smith Al- Yussana, a new opportunity.

Ricardo Zambrano repeated for the second consecutive week as the player with the highest rating with 11 points, followed by Pablo García with 9 and Rafa García Vaquero with 7. In the scoring aspect, the most important shortlist was made up of Rafa García Vaquero (13 points), Pablo García (12 points) and Pablo Salado (10 points).
