The meeting for the renewal of the Godo Baseball Board of Directors took place yesterday evening at the Godo Civic Center. In the presence of around fifty participants, including managers, players, parents, supporters, Carlo Naldoni concluded his long mandate of 12 years as president and 30 as management by saying goodbye with a speech of great emotional impact. Naldoni recalled the challenges faced and the results obtained, thanking the community for the support received.
The assembly elected the new Board of Directors, led by Attilio Casadio, historical figure of Godo Baseball. Casadio, linked to the club for a lifetime first as a player and then as sports director, set out a clear vision for the future: to bring the Bosca stadium back to being a beating heart for the community, relaunch softball, strengthen the youth sector and make start a new cycle of young champions starting from the experience of veterans who can still help in technical and strategic growth by example on the field.
The new president also underlined the importance of the slow pitch as a means of broadening participation and attraction towards society, announcing the desire to organize social events to strengthen the bond with the territory.
The new Board of Directors, made up of 11 members, will work to advance the company’s objectives. Below are the main tasks:
- President: Attilio Casadio
- Vice President: Alvaro Neri
- Secretary: Nevio Kristancic
- Treasurer: Gianni Ricci
- Advisors: Aldo Valerioti, David Capucci, Massimiliano Scudellari, Matteo Carta, Roberto Bucchi, Sara Mazzotti, Sonia Montanari.
Warm wishes for good work to the new management, with the hope that Godo Baseball will continue to be a point of reference for sport and the community.
