In the footsteps of future talents…

Thanks to the support of local La Mie Câline franchisees and the French Basketball Federation, more than a thousand men’s and women’s teams take part in the La Mie Câline Basket Go adventure each year in France. This benchmark tournament, certified by the FFBB since 2001, is also a meeting place for recruiters, a showcase and a springboard for young players. Many have become professionals after participating in La Mie Câline Basket Go when they were under 15 years old: Nicolas Batum, Fabien Causeur, Valériane Ayayi, Olivia Epoupa and more recently, Victor Wembanyama in 2018, with JSF Nanterre… to name just a few.

The La Mie Câline Basket Go tournament is organized in three phases

A pre-qualification phase (from September to April) pits teams against each other, locally, according to their level of competition (Departmental, Regional, Elite). A second qualifying phase (in April-May) allows the winners of the first phase tournaments to meet to win their ticket to the finals. The national finals in June, the big meeting which brings together the best teams of the season, qualified for two days of 100% basketball competition, in Saint-Jean-de-Monts, Challans and throughout the North-West of Vendée. This unmissable weekend is a real basketball celebration for all the U15s in France, in the presence of prestigious French basketball ambassadors. Boris Diaw, Nicolas Batum, Nando de Colo, Evan Fournier, Florent Pietrus, Isabelle Yacoubou or even Emilie Gomis and Olivia Epoupa… for more than 20 years, all these champions have already come to encourage future generations during the national finals of “La Mie Cuddle Basket Go” in Vendée. The talents of tomorrow come through La Mie Câline Basket Go.
