New elections: This is one of the most important items on the agenda of the district meeting of the Münsterland tennis district, which will take place on Sunday, January 19, 2025, 11:00 a.m., in the Billerbeck sports park. Representatives of the 185 clubs in Münsterland have the opportunity to vote. The district chairman, the sports coordinator, the youth coordinator and the club development coordinator will be elected for the next three years. The right to vote and elect each association can only be exercised by the chairman or by a representative sent by the board of directors of the member association authorized to represent them. In addition to new elections, the following topics are on the agenda: Current information from the district board and honors. WTV President Jörg Hochdörfer will also be present and give a brief review of the first year of his term in office and an outlook on developments in the DTB.
In total, over 36,000 members, around a quarter of whom are children and young people, are members of clubs that belong to the Münsterland tennis district.
