In Santiago del Estero they defeated Quimsa 72-70.

Biguá had a great debut in the Basketball Champions League Americas on Thursday, beating the powerful local Quimsa team in Santiago del Estero. The Villa Biarritz team beat the Argentine team 72-70.

Each group of the four in the first phase is made up of teams from Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Panama and Nicaragua; plays six separate games in three windows.

Those from Pato had their first turn in Argentina, in Santiago del Estero; then, in January it will be local, apparently, in the reopened Paysandú stadium, where a few days ago Nacional won the South American League, and finally it will culminate in Belo Horizonte, the home of Tennis Clube, whom Biguá will face on Friday, closing the window of Santiago del Estero for the Montevideo team.
