Armenia Basketball League A (Armenian: ղասկետբոլի ձ լիգա) is the top-tier men’s basketball league in Armenia. The first season of the league was organized in 2017.[1]
Following the creation of the Armenia national basketball team, the Armenian Basketball Federation decided to establish the A League in order to train new players for the national team.[2]
The Federation also aims to ensure that Armenian basketball can develop as the teams succeed in participating in various European competitions in the following seasons.[3]
