NHL Highlights: Fehérváry’s Second Career Fight – December 15 Results Revealed

NEW YORK. Washington Capitals hockey players won their fourth consecutive game. They beat Buffalo 4-2.

Slovak defender Martin Fehérváry was there. He did not score, but he impressed with a battle with Dylan Cozens, which developed from a shove in front of his team’s goal.

It was the defenseman’s second fight in the NHL, for which he received five minutes on the penalty bench. In 17 minutes and 50 seconds, he added two shooting attempts, two points and a block.

Tom Wilson scored two Capitals goals, Dylan Strome broke the tie in the 52nd minute.

Washington won the fourth game in the series, on the other hand, the Sabers lost their ninth game in a row. Washington used two of three power plays, Buffalo used none of two.

“Our special teams weren’t good today. That was the biggest difference,” Buffalo coach Lindy Ruff said.

Slafkovský played 16:41 minutes against Winnipeg and added a minus point to his statistics.

The Slovak attacker returned to the first attack to Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield, Alex Newhook moved to the second attack.

In the past seven matches, Slafkovský recorded only one assist, in 27 duels this season he has a balance of 2+13. Kyle Connor and Gabriel Vilardi helped the Jets win with a goal and an assist, Connor Hellebuyck made 26 saves.

“He is unreal, in my opinion the best goalkeeper in the league,” said defender Jim Morissey (0+2). Montreal led 1-0 when defenseman Lane Hutson scored his first NHL goal, but the Canadiens ended up losing their third of their last four games.

Calgary Flames claimed a valuable victory. They defeated the reigning champion from Florida 3:0.

Martin Pospíšil spent 16 minutes and 21 seconds on the ice, recorded a plus, two shots on goal and two points. After his forecheck, Nazem Kadri scored a wonderful goal.

Goalkeeper Dustin Wolf was a big support for the Flames, who blocked all 32 Panthers shots. It was his second clean sheet of the season and career.

“I didn’t do well in the last few games, but that’s how hockey is sometimes. Whenever a chance comes, you have to reach for it. It was a great team performance,” Wolf told nhl.com.

The defenders of the Stanley Cup were missing captain Aleksander Barkov due to illness. Florida came up empty-handed for the second straight game, losing 0-4 in Vancouver on Friday night.

Erik Černák was also happy about the victory. He returned after a short absence as a member of the first defensive pair, as captain Victor Hedman was absent from the lineup due to health problems.

His “Lightnings” won in Seattle 5:1. Černak played exactly 18 minutes, recorded a plus point, a shot on goal, four points and two blocks.

The first goal in the NHL was scored by Declan Carlile, the “Lightnings” won four of the past five duels.

“At the first commercial break, we lost on shots 0:7. We said some things during the break and luckily it started to work. We forechecked very well, thanks to that we created chances,” said Tampa coach Jon Cooper.

Nikita Kučerov collected two assists, his 258th multi-point game, moving him into second place in club history behind Martin St. Louisa.
