Jaraguá Dominates the Court: Celebrating Their Five-Time Championship Victory in the National Futsal League

Jaraguá is five-time champion of the National Futsal League. The Santa Catarina team drew 2-2 with Praia Clube in normal time, then 1-1 in extra time and had to win on penalties 6-5 to lift the trophy for best in the LNF after 14 years, in a match played in the afternoon/ this Sunday night, in Carlos Barbosa (RS).

Locomotiva Amarela once again feels the taste of the national title, a feat achieved in 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2010, the club’s golden era, whose main star was the greatest of all time, winger Falcão.

In this final, it was up to the team to beat the Minas Gerais defense, the best in the league, with emphasis on pivot Marcênio, who had two assists. Bruninho and Pedrinho scored for the Santa Catarina team in normal time. Gilvan, the League’s top scorer with 30 goals, and Claudinho scored for Praia. In extra time, Bruninho again went to the net, but with 20 seconds left, the veteran Cabreúva took the duel to penalties.

During the kicks, the Jaraguaense team converted all six kicks, while Praia lost the last one, with Rabisco, to the save of goalkeeper Nicolas.
