The NBA is never the last to bring its share of verbal outbursts of all kinds between its different protagonists. And obviously, count on us to list them as often as possible, because without being too crude, we are fond of these muscular duels. So, who do you think is the biggest mouth of the moment?
Candidat # 1 : Jaylen Brown toise Isaiah Stewart
The Pistons have been better since the start of the season, without being huge, the fact remains that it is much more complicated to hit JB Bickerstaff’s men now, which pushes certain teams to use trashtalking when necessary . Ask Jaylen Brown and the Celtics what they think.
BREAKING: The NBA has fined Jaylen Brown $25,000 for doing the ‘throat slash’ gesture to Isaiah Stewart after dunking on him.
Thoughts? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/qeTawTq83Q

After climbing Isaiah Stewart, JB obviously stared at his victim before making a gesture that could not have been more evocative. It is true that the interior of Detroit went to the slaughterhouse over this action. For the record, Jaylen Brown was fined $25,000 following this action.
Candidate #2: Trae Young and Madison Square Garden, Stage 832
Given that Trae Young returned to Madison Square Garden a few days ago during the NBA Cup, there was little chance that nothing would happen here. You guessed it, Ice Trae played against the New York public again after his team’s victory, to reach the final four of the tournament. Trashtalking like the leader knows how to do so well, and with which he has accustomed Knicks fans lately.
Trae Young miming the dice game (one of the symbols of gambling and Las Vegas) on the Knicks logo after Atlanta’s victory in the NBA Cup 😭❤️
Note en trashtalking : 147/20

The “final four” takes place in Las Vegas, a city known for its casinos, its gambling, its debauchery and its lust. To celebrate the occasion, Trae Young mimed throwing a dice right on the Knicks logo, just to remind them that they are deprived of this trophy no matter what.
The CM of the Hawks also had a field day on Twitter, taking a Spotify screenshot of the title “man at the garden” from the album GNX, Kendrick Lamar’s latest release, while taking care to replace the head of the rapper from Compton by that of the evening executioner. This love story is way too beautiful.

Candidate #3: Dyson Daniels feels much better away from the Pelicans
This summer, the Pelicans obtained Dejounte Murray from the Hawks, and Dyson Daniels was one of the players who went the other way. And the least we can say is that the Australian leader feels like a fish in water in Atlanta, he has established himself in the major five and perfectly complements Trae Young thanks to his size and his performances defensive. And since we’re on topic, he sends a hell of a lost ball to the Pels, his former franchise.
“This franchise is cursed, I’m glad I don’t play there anymore.”
Given the avalanche of injuries plaguing NOLA, dead last in the West, it is difficult to go against the words of Dyson Daniels, who, for his part, is shining in Georgia. Himself prone to injuries, particularly to his ankles, when he played in Louisiana, he only missed 2 games this season, and established himself as a formidable defender. With 3 stolen balls per game, the vacuum cleaner is the best interceptor in the league ahead of… Dejounte Murray. Let DD enjoy, he deserved his moment of glory!
Candidate #4: Things are heating up between Ja Morant and Jordi Fernandez
Small moment of tension between Grizzlies leader Ja Morant and Nets coach Jordi Fernandez. Ja sends a buzzer-beater at half-time to extend the lead of his Bears a little, and does not fail to slip a few words to the Spanish coach, who does not appreciate the approach.

Ja Morant really only said “Yeah!” in front of the coach, but at a socially unacceptable distance. The former Canada coach wanted to confront the gunman, but he was prevented. The two men then dismissed it as a playground mischief, and so did we.
Candidate #5: Jordan Poole points the finger at Payton Pritchard… but doesn’t punish
You will quickly understand by watching the action what this means. Jordan Poole truly is the entertaining player he thinks he is. Even if he plays better individually this season (not difficult at the same time), he remains of the caliber of those who can disconnect the brain for the duration of an action. We’ll let you be the judges.
Jordan Poole crossed Payton Pritchard, pointed at him, and skipped the open shot.
HIGH IQ. 🔥🔥🔥pic.twitter.com/entNr3ulOL
— NBACentel (@TheNBACentel) December 16, 2024
Payton Pritchard finds himself on the ground after a game of roller skating, Jordan Poole, in a burst of insolence, points the unfortunate leader to the ground when he could have lit it and added the icing on the cake. But during this time, Sam Hauser has time to come to the rescue of his teammate to contest the shot. The former Warriors can no longer arm and is forced to let go of the ball. The action will not succeed, from Jordan Poole in the text, from the Washington Wizards in the text.
Bonus candidate: for the Pistons, revenge is a dish best served cold
And this plate was just out of the freezer at 8 Mile. Remember what Kyle Kuzma said during the Pistons’ losing streak last year? Let’s refresh your memory.
At this point its like “dont be that team” 🤣 https://t.co/qmWMgPt9Jz

“At this point, we just can’t be that team.”
Well know that we have stubborn grudges in Detroit since the CM of the franchise obviously brought out this tweet when celebrating the victory.
*don’t say it*

Oh by the way, the last in the league currently? The Wizards.
