At the last Saturday, December 14th, 2024 it drew the Dümptener to Ludwigsburg. The MBC Ludwigsburg began its 30th anniversary there with a boxing gala and the aim was to compete with the top from Baden-Württemberg.
On the part of BC Mulheim-Dumpten eV were comparisons for Ian Aswaldt, Junes Guerbouj, Andy Pazari, Dustin Jan Juretzko and Yasin and Sadik Kirkyasarouglu provided.
Unfortunately, the opponent fell ill Andy Pazari at short notice, so unfortunately it could not be filled.
In the first battle for the Dümptener rose Junes Guerbouj in the cadet lightweight division and met the reigning national champion and runner-up German champion Finn Obenauer from the organizing MBC Ludwigsburg. A more than worthy task for Junes, who had only fought three fights.
Both guys showed a really good technical performance and it was a battle of equals throughout all three rounds, with the advantages and actions going back and forth in each round. It seemed as if both of them always had the right answer ready.
So is the verdict: a draw.
Then rose Ian Aswaldt in the paper weight of the cadets in the ring and met Lean Rakiovic, the national champion of the ESW RW Stuttgart. Here the Dümpteners experimented a little, because in order for this fight to take place, they would have to “push” their pupil up a weight class.
From the start of the first round took over Ian the command in the ring, he was always able to please with a quick jap and good footwork. He specifically prepared his attack attempts via the Jap and steadily moved forward on the scorecards.
It was a fast-paced fight in which the Stuttgart player tried again and again Ian to move into half distance, but he knew how to solve this situation through clever avoidance and the resulting counterattacks.
Ian showed a strong performance, left nothing to be desired and so it was clear: Winner on points: Ian Aswaldt!
Dümptener was the next to present himself Dustin Jan Juretzko In the elite middleweight division, the Württemberg champion Elias Hipp from VFKG Stuttgart.
The man from Stuttgart had a significant range advantage and led the battle from long distance. Dustin tried again and again to overcome this and was constantly moving forward. A close battle developed over all three rounds, which the Stuttgart player was rightly able to win on points.
The elite heavyweight was then Yasin Kirkyasarouglu Erich Wünsch, the German champion from SV Böblingen, who also knew how to impress internationally.
Yasin started extremely strong and used heavy hands in the first round, and was able to dominate the round through clever avoidance moves and the resulting counterattacks. A surprise was literally in the air.
But at the beginning of the second round, the Böblinger was better prepared, so that the fight gradually turned sour and the greater experience made itself felt here. Yasin tried everything, but could no longer avert the impending defeat, so the victory rightly went into the other corner.
The last fight of this event was the supreme discipline Olympic boxing reserved for the elite super heavyweight.
Met here Sadik Kirkyasarouglu on Rohullah Esmatyar from SV03 Tübingen, who won bronze at this year’s German Elite Championships and has already made appearances in the Bundesliga.
The fight was a worthy conclusion to this anniversary event. Both went at a high pace for this weight class. While the Tübingener was looking for forward gear, he could Sadiq deftly avoid the attack attempts. It was a close battle on both sides, but ultimately with small advantages from the other corner, so that they were able to claim victory.
Overall, the small Dümpten squad showed good performances at this away start, regardless of the respective verdict.
