The Sudamericano Escolar held in Bucaramanga, Colombia, generated sports revenue to celebrate the Aysén region.
The brilliant swimming performance of Joaquín Galvez Rudolff, in addition to Lucas Carrillo in judo, contributed to the national medal table, in which athletes from the U-14 category participated.
In the case of Galvez, he won the South American bronze in the 100 meter breaststroke. On his return, he valued his participation in this South American event.

In the case of judo Lucas Carrillo Martínez took third place in the -44 kilos category. Furthermore, in the men’s team competition Martín Rojas Luarte and Carrillo himself won the bronze medal.
An important achievement for the club’s former player Marcelo Eastman, who made known the difficulties he encountered in climate matters in the Caribbean country.

In total, Chile obtained a total of 60 medals (9 gold, 26 silver and 25 bronze), among which Aysén contributed with bronze medals in the disciplines of judo and swimming, achieved by Martín Rojas, Lucas Carrillo and Joaquín Galvez.
