Even if there are no tournaments or matches these days: Jannik Sinner is and remains omnipresent. The Sesto superstar rushes from one record to the next prize.

Jannik Sinner is not only on everyone’s lips, but also on all smartphones. On Tuesday it was revealed that Sinner’s entry on the Italian Wikipedia page was the one with the most views in 2024. The world number one’s post on the famous online encyclopedia was viewed more than five million times (exact number: 5,023,355), that’s quite a number. Especially when you look at the rest of the rankings.
In second place was the Serie A club Napoli, which was clicked on 2.8 million times – almost half as often as Sinner. This is followed by the entries from “Rai” (2,400,763 clicks), “Facebook” (2,280,076) and “Italia” (2,018,285). In short: Jannik Sinner can only win in the offseason.
The man of the year
This goes with another trophy that the Sesto superstar has won recently. Of the Gazzetta dello SportItaly’s infamous sports newspaper, Sinner was named “Man of the Year.”
The pink paper wrote: “The year of the phenomenon. The Year of Sinner. A bright and dazzling star that has not only illuminated Italian sport, but has transcended its boundaries to place itself at the center of global events.”
