The period before the Christmas holidays was conducive to establishing an assessment of the start of the season for Marie-Christine Monet, the coach of the judo section of the MJC. In organizing the training, she has the full support of Emma who, at 9 years old, leads all these little people (almost) in charge.
Thus, 26 judokas, divided into two groups (years 2018 to 2020 and 2015 to 2017), have been stepping onto the tatami mats every Tuesday since the start of the school year in September. Emma Hermand, Mia Pierre and Linaël Lauvergeon have joined, on a voluntary basis, the improvement group whose classes are given every Friday at the Saint-Dizier dojo, which allows them to benefit from two training sessions per week.
Some judokas from Ancerville took part, during the All Saints’ Day holidays, in a course open to all sections of the Marnaval/Saint-Dizier Judo-club. A slight apprehension was palpable among the youngest because it was their first internship at the Marnaval dojo. After a few minutes and words of encouragement, everything was forgotten. The next regrouping will take place on December 21 in Marnaval. Saturday December 14, the Marnaval/Saint-Dizier Judo-club organized the first round of the mini-chicks animation and the samurai tournament at the Saint-Dizier Social and Cultural Center for all judokas from the north of Haute-Marne , 86 mini-chicks and 73 chicks responded.
The six mini-chicks from the MJC d’Ancerville achieved a perfect evaluation since they all completed the nine workshops. No grade or point, just a beaming emoticon clapping, indicating success. The five chicks obtained between 130 and 145 points out of a possible 150. Marie-Christine Monet congratulated them and praised their good level of work. She encouraged all her protégés to persevere and progress to be at the top in future competitions which will take place, particularly in January.
