Since the annual general meeting a few days ago, it has been clear: FC Bayern is in an excellent financial position. This is one of the reasons why there has been repeated speculation about possible winter transfers for the German record champions. When looking for reinforcements, those responsible could now find what they are looking for in Paris.

Munich – The staffing level at FC Bayern is currently extremely thin. Because head coach Vincent Kompany’s team repeatedly suffered from a number of defensive failures, new signings in the winter were recently seen as a concrete possibility.

Interesting for the German record champions: With central defender Milan Skriniar, a professional from Paris Saint-Germain has now apparently landed on the transfer market.

Like transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports, Skriniar will be allowed to leave the French champions in January if he receives a suitable offer. The 29-year-old, like his teammate Randal Kolo Muani, was therefore left out of the PSG squad.

Responsible for this decision is head coach Luis Enrique, who no longer relies on the duo. Both players should assume that those responsible in Paris will not put any obstacles in their way if they leave in the coming transfer period.

Juve ahead in the race for Skriniar

FC Bayern should be following Skriniar’s situation particularly closely. The German record champions were already said to be interested in the Slovakian in the past. There could be another chance for a transfer in January.

Like the French portal PSGInside News reports, top Italian club Juventus Turin is currently leading the race to sign the central defender. However, in addition to the old lady, Aston Villa, Al Hilal, Galatasaray Istanbul and FC Bayern are still said to be vying for the 29-year-old’s services.

However, a transfer in winter seems very unlikely. According to sports director Max Eberl, the Munich team is not planning any new personnel additions in January. In addition, Josip Stanisic, a Bayern defender, is returning in January.
