Fantasy football: ten players to target on waivers

Fantasy football: ten players to target on waivers

Are you in the semi-finals and have just lost an important player in your Fantasy football pool? There are solutions to tossing.

Several pool players have reason to worry with the loss of running back David Montgomery, the uncertainty surrounding quarterback Patrick Mahomes or the recent poor performances of certain star players.

Don’t panic, waivers offer many interesting options in view of the 16th week of activities in the NFL:

Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback (Available in 65% of Yahoo! Leagues)

The Jets veteran has just had his best performance of the season and will benefit from an opposing defense that gives a lot of points to opposing quarterbacks to continue its momentum. Indeed, the Rams defensive unit ranks 10th in points allowed to pivots.

Drake Maye, Quarterback (Available in 87% of Yahoo! Leagues)

The Patriots still aren’t winning, but Maye continues to do well. It won’t be easy against Buffalo this week, but the Bills defense has allowed 44 and 42 points in their last two games.

Tyjae Spears, running back (Available in 55% of Yahoo! leagues)

Many were bitterly disappointed to have drafted the Titans running back this season. However, it’s time to give it another chance. Spears stands out for his ability to catch passes, which is not negligible when you play in a “PPR” or “half PPR” type pool. Plus, Tony Pollard isn’t 100% and the Colts, the Titans’ next opponents, are horrible against the run.

Kendre Miller, running back (Available in 88% of Yahoo!) leagues

Alvin Kamara wasn’t able to finish the Saints’ last game. If he doesn’t play next Monday night, Miller will have the door wide open to produce his best career performance.

Jerome Ford, running back (Available in 56% of Yahoo!) leagues

Nick Chubb broke his foot, leaving Ford plenty of room in the Browns backfield. He should be able to put up a lot of yards against the very ordinary Bengals defense.

Romeo Doubs, pass catcher Available in 62% of Yahoo!) leagues

After a two-week absence due to a concussion, Doubs came back strong, scoring two touchdowns last week. The Packers face the Saints on Monday, the team ranked sixth in points allowed to receivers.

Jalen McMillan, wide receiver Available in 90% of leagues Yahoo!)

If McMillan is in our suggestions again, it’s because the Buccaneers’ first-year player isn’t fading! We bet that he will find the profitable zone again against the Cowboys this week.

Rashod Bateman, wide receiver Available in 75% of Yahoo!) leagues

With Bateman, it’s either a home run or a flop. However, he is Lamar Jackson’s number 1 option for very long passes. The Ravens center should try a few against the Steelers.

Brenton Strange, tight end (Available in 97% of Yahoo! leagues)

Evan Engram will miss the remainder of the season and Strange has been promoted to the Jaguars’ No. 1 tight end. In his first game with this responsibility, he caught 11 of 12 passes sent in his direction for 73 yards.

Chigoziem Okonkwo, tight end (Available in 95% of Yahoo! leagues)

Here’s another Titans player who will take advantage of the Colts’ poor defense to score a lot of points.
