Coach Miller: I think it’s a fantastic step. Just like in sports, disagreements are bound to happen. The key is finding a fair and clear process to resolve them. Having a dedicated online platform for this, especially one backed by the EU, adds a level of legitimacy and trust.
Moderator: I agree.This platform takes the guesswork out of the process. Do you think this could be particularly beneficial for athletes who engage in online endorsements or merchandise sales?
Coach Miller: Absolutely. Many young athletes build their brands online these days. Being able to rely on a neutral platform like the ODR to address any disputes with brands or fans provides invaluable peace of mind.
moderator: You raise a valid point. In the fast-paced world of sports and social media, quick resolution is crucial. What do you think are the biggest challenges athletes might face when navigating online transactions and potential disputes?
Coach Miller: I think clarity in contracts is paramount. Young athletes might not always fully understand the legal jargon. Having legal depiction specializing in sports and digital agreements can be a game-changer.
Moderator: It’s wise to have the right team behind you. Speaking of teamwork, what role do you think sports organizations should play in educating athletes about their rights and responsibilities online?

Sports organizations have a obligation to equip athletes with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate the digital landscape safely and effectively. workshops,educational materials,and even partnerships with legal professionals could be highly valuable.
