Moderator: The recent Christmas Table Tennis Tournament, hosted by your association at the State Sports Institute of Durango, seemed like a tremendous success. What inspired you to organize this event?
Rosa: We wanted to do something special for our table tennis community, both to celebrate the holiday season and the incredible progress our players have made this year. it’s been a challenging year, but seeing everyone come together in such a festive spirit was truly gratifying.
Moderator: Absolutely! And the talent on display was definitely impressive. Can you tell us a bit about some of the standout performances?
Rosa: Juan Pablo Bañuelos Alanis was phenomenal, truly deserving of the championship title.His skill and dedication were evident throughout the tournament. We also saw impressive performances from Emmanuel Martínez Soto, who secured second place, and Esteban Torres Monreal and Alejandro Ramirez Dominguez, who tied for third. Each of these athletes showed tremendous talent.

Rosa: We’re incredibly excited about the future of table tennis in Durango. Many of these players will be competing in meaningful national events next year, including the School Sports Games, CONADE events, and the National universiade. They have the potential to make waves on a national level,and we’ll be cheering them on every step of the way.

rosa: table tennis is a wonderful sport that brings people together. Events like this tournament provide a platform for athletes, coaches, families, and fans to connect, share their passion for the sport, and build lasting friendships. That sense of community is incredibly critically importent, and it’s something we strive to create with every event we organize.
