Turkish Teams shine shining in European Basketball competitions
Turkish basketball clubs are making waves across Europe, with ten men’s and four women’s teams battling it out in prestigious competitions.
The men’s teams are spread across various leagues, showcasing the depth of Turkish basketball talent. Fenerbahçe Beko and Anadolu Efes are vying for glory in the THY Europa League, while Beşiktaş Fibabanka, Türk Telekom, and Bahçeşehir Koleji are making their mark in the BKT European Cup. Galatasaray, Karşıyaka, Aliağa Petkim, and Manisa Basket are representing Turkey in the Basketball Champions League, and TOFAŞ is competing in the FIBA European Cup.
On the women’s side, ÇBK Mersin and Fenerbahçe Opet are competing in the FIBA Europa League, while Galatasaray Çağdaş Faktoring and Beşiktaş are showcasing their skills in the FIBA Europe Cup.

Galatasaray showcased their strength with a 74-64 win over RASTA Vechta (Germany).Manisa Basket delivered a dominant performance, defeating FMP (Serbia) 103-84. Karşıyaka proved their prowess with a convincing 93-67 victory over Saint-Quentin Basketball (France).
Women’s FIBA Europa League: ÇBK Mersin delivered a commanding performance, defeating Beretta famila Schio (Italy) 86-52.Fenerbahçe Opet secured a hard-fought victory against Umana Reyer Venezia (Italy), winning 79-71.
* Women’s FIBA Europe Cup: Galatasaray Çağdaş Faktoring emerged victorious against Red Star (Serbia) with a score of 82-75. Beşiktaş secured a win against InvestInTheWest Enea Gorzow (Poland),defeating them 80-71.
