## Discovering Archery in Watten: A Day with Les Papillons Blancs
On Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, the Hazebrouck-based association, Les Papillons Blancs, embarked on an exciting adventure to Watten. Despite the threat of rain, a fortunate break in the clouds allowed nearly forty participants to experience the thrill of archery at the Guillaume Tell archery club.under the guidance of club president Daniel Delhaye and eight dedicated members, the group enthusiastically embraced this novel activity. The afternoon continued with a captivating tour of the Maison des Archers, further enriching their understanding of this traditional sport.
Interestingly, this wasn’t the only archery event taking place that day. A seperate public initiation session welcomed six individuals eager to explore this ancient practice.
